Our largest retractable membrane project so far!
4000 m² of membrane - wherein 2x 400 m² retractable - for the new roof of the amphitheater at Lake Czose in Mragowo, Poland.
The membrane structure, consisting of 3 different levels, together with the central steel arch, covers the stage of the amphitheater as well as the 5100 seats of the grandstand. To the right and left of the arch, membrane areas of approx. 400 m² each can be opened independently and stored under the associated protective roof.
The double-curved initial shape of the arch necessitated a complex drive logic and suspension of the main membrane from the main cables. This made it possible to ensure that the system could be moved along the main cables while simultaneously overlapping the two membrane sections without having to install additional suspension cables.
